PROGRAM CURRICULUM

Over the course of 6 weeks, HUG and Stability AI will provide you with strategic, technical, and marketing guidance to take your creativity to the next level.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

  • Weeks 1-3: Engage in live, interactive sessions twice a week where you will learn from industry experts and collaborate with peers. Live sessions will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 11AM ET. 

  • Week 4: Dedicate your time to a final assignment, working asynchronously to apply what you've learned and create a tangible project that showcases your new capabilities.

  • In this first workshop, we’ll introduce HUG + Stability AI. We’ll also establish the foundations of the four weeks, and dig into case studies of how AI Art is currently evolving in the creative landscape.

  • The Stability AI team will join us live to answer your questions about Stability AI’s latest model - SD3 and provide a live demonstration on how you can train your own model to enhance your creative practice.

  • Each class will be dedicated to a different artist discipline in conversation with leading artists to inspire you how you can use AI to leverage your creative work.

    In addition, we’ll introduce the HUG x Stability AI marketing challenge, encouraging you to share your discoveries on social media. Winners will receive free Stability AI credits!

  • In this class, you’ll learn how to experiment with our foundational Innovation & Inquiry Framework to help you discover your innovative idea on how to incorporate AI Art into your practice.

    In addition, we’ll continue to learn from leading artists on how they integrate AI into their creative practice.

  • Share your initial discoveries within the inquiry framework, and receive further inspiration from leading AI creatives.

    -What findings have you been able to synthesize from your research?

    -How were you able to innovate and discover something new about your creative practice?

  • Discover strategies to amplify your art, build a dedicated fanbase, and effectively collaborate within the creative community. Then, hear from fellow artists on how they incorporate marketing into their creative practice.

  • Absolutely! While the last program provided a general introduction to various tools, models, and frameworks, this iteration of the program focuses on empowering you to train your own AI model and take your creativity to the next level.

    You'll gain hands-on experience and expert guidance tailored to help you not just use AI tools, but also to customize them to better serve your unique creative vision.

  • -Emerging and established creatives eager to collaborate with AI as a tool in their artistic process

    -Artists who want to collaborate in a community and experiment with like-minded individuals

    -Individuals seeking structured learning and accountability

  • While we welcome creatives from all backgrounds, this program is not recommended if:

    • You aren't interested in collaborating or connecting with others.

    • You prefer to work on their own without any guidance or mentorship.

    • You solely focus on traditional art and are not interested in experimenting with AI tools.

  • The live 4-week program will take place July 9th-August 2nd, 2024.

  • Both HUG and Stability AI believe in accessible education. As such, this program charges an upfront registration deposit starting from $69 USD to foster accountability and skin-in-the-game.

    Upon completion of our simple assignment at the end of the program, 100% of your fee will be refunded.

  • During the four weeks from July 9th-August 2nd, 2024, there will be a mix of live and asynchronous activities.

    During Weeks 1-3, the cohort will meet live a total of 6 times for 60 minutes each on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11AM ET.

    You will also have creative and strategic assignments to help spark your practice.

    During the last week, you will work asynchronously to apply what you’ve learned towards a final assignment.

    Typical participation requires a total of 2-3 hours per week.

  • You are not required to attend live. Each workshop will be recorded so you can catch up at any point. However, each session incorporates interactive discussions to foster collaboration and support, so you will benefit from attending live.

  • The Innovation Laboratory is designed to support creatives of all experience levels, whether you’re a seasoned AI creator or have never collaborated with AI before.

    We welcome anyone who is willing to learn! Our team of experts will guide you through the process step-by-step, and you'll have access to a private Discord server where you can ask questions and receive community support.

  • We will allocate time in our live workshops for questions, and the Stability AI team will host an hour long live Q&A session for technical questions.

    While we can’t guarantee feedback from our teams for every single question, we encourage use of the Discord channel for community support.
