What is HUG?

Founded by Facebook Live creator and Tony Award-winning Broadway producer Randi Zuckerberg, HUG is an inclusive global community of 20,000+ artists and art lovers. Our mission is to help artists become successful entrepreneurs by providing them with tools, opportunities, and resources to better grow, monetize from, and connect with their audiences.

What do HUG Ambassadors do?

HUG Ambassadors help share our mission of artistic growth and creative entrepreneurship. You will be responsible for:

  • Creating social content to build awareness for anything from HUG’s values to our latest features and offerings

  • Inviting your peers to submit to our ongoing Open Call opportunities or join our education programs

  • Sharing your custom invite links to drive HUG Artist Profile sign-ups among peers

  • Communicating valuable insights and feedback to the HUG team so we can better serve and support artists

The HUG Ambassador Program gives you the opportunity to gain real-world marketing experience from a venture-backed startup team while also allowing you to work closely with artists and creatives from all around the world. But that’s not all.

All HUG Ambassadors will get:

  • Unlimited complimentary submissions to our Open Call opportunities

  • Scholarships to attend all of HUG’s education programs for free

  • Opportunity to earn additional performance-based incentives

  • Valuable face time with the HUG team including Randi Zuckerberg through roundtable discussions  

  • The ideal HUG Ambassador is someone who already has strong connections to artists in their existing network. While you do not need to be an artist yourself, you should be passionate about supporting and empowering creators and aligning with HUG’s values of inclusion.

  • Your role as a HUG Ambassador is to bring HUG into your local arts community. Feel free to do so by creating engaging social content, direct word of mouth, and whatever you can imagine! If you have additional ideas, we would love to hear them and even collaborate to support you.

  • Yes! So long as you are over 18 years of age, the HUG Ambassador Program is open to global applicants including college students.

  • We want you to be able to work flexibly as a HUG Ambassador. We expect no more than 3-5 hours of time commitment per week to be put towards biweekly or monthly deliverables provided by our team.

  • HUG Ambassadors have a minimum term of 2 months, which can extended upon mutual agreement.

  • HUG Ambassadors receive a monthly compensation of $250, but will be eligible for performance-based incentives of up to $1000 per month, as well as other benefits such as free merchandise, Open Call submissions, scholarships to attend our education programs, and more.

  • Of course! HUG is a global arts community that’s home to creatives from over 160 countries and counting. We actively encourage interested applicants from different countries to apply.
